Matthew Hiller, Visiting Designer

When we started our collaboration with visiting designer, Matthew Hiller, we were excited to work with someone as obsessed with details as we are.

With several years of experience in the printing industry, Matt designs with precision and a passion for hand-craftsmanship that is the hallmark of his design aesthetic.

As the founder of Revival Letterpress, Matt brings an empathy to his work that addresses the challenges entrepreneurs and small business owners often encounter. At a time when quality often takes a backseat to convenience, he understands that customers are won or lost on the basis of their experience with a brand.

Working with the GRBA committee, Matt designed the new logo for the Green Ridge Business Association (GRBA) with the modern business owner in mind. The logo’s playful font and bright, friendly storefront evokes an image of tree-lined streets dotted with red-brick facades and windows displaying hand-crafted curiosities. The logo reflects the exciting renaissance that the Green Ridge shopping district is currently experiencing.

When not designing for BlackOut clients, Matt can be found running old machines in his letterpress studio, playing music, or enjoying the great outdoors. We look forward to collaborating with him more in the coming months!
